About Me

Hi, I’m Jack. I’m 13 years old and I run my own laser engraving business. What started as a small idea has turned into something I really enjoy and care about.

My Story

In November 2023, while I was at Holme Grange School, I got interested in laser engraving. I started by designing keyrings and using the school’s laser cutter. But I soon realized I needed my own machine to do more, so I bought an Atomstack A5 Pro.

At first, I focused on engraving wood and learned a lot through trial and error. Then I decided to try something new—engraving glass. My first time doing that was for a 20th anniversary project, where I engraved special glasses. It was a challenge, but it helped me improve and get more creative.

In November 2024, I went to my first business fair in Reading. It was raising money for a charity called Thames Hospice. It was a great day—I won Best Stand and got my first real business order.

Since then, I’ve kept learning, trying new things, and improving my skills. I’m excited to keep growing my business and seeing where it goes next.
